Child examination

As vision only develops in childhood, regular eye checks by experts are highly recommended. If any visual defects remain uncorrected or eye misalignments remain undetected, this can lead to permanent visual impairment (amblyopia) in one or even both eyes.

At our eye center, we are ideally equipped for mother-child eye examinations and other follow-up examinations. We also work with orthoptists who have many years of experience in the field of pediatric ophthalmology and strabology. They will test your child for misalignments of the eye and can playfully test the child's visual performance. By objectively checking for visual defects, we can also determine at a young age whether your child needs glasses to enable the best possible development of their vision.
